Where Did I Burn More Calories/fat?

Yesterday i joggd on my elliptical for 1 hour and got really sweaty and tired.Today I went to the park and did hill sprinting and normal sprinting for about 30 minutes.I ran out of breath a lot today and goy tired but I didn’t sweat at all. Where did i burn more calories/fat ???

  1. i would say about the same. hill sprinting is a good calorie burner, but so is jogging. its nice to alternate your workout routine. you don’t want to overwork one particular muscle. also, sweat has nothing to do with how many calories you burn. always remember that. it is your body’s cooling system.

    The body is more receptive to intival training, like your 30 minute running session. So you probably burnt more calories there. But endurance training like that on the elliptical is also good, and burns significant amounts of calories.

    probably running (unless you had the resistance very high on the elliptical). the typical person burns about 100 calories in 8 minutes of running, but it takes 10 min to burn the same on the elliptical at a mid-range resistance and speed
